Mwanza University operates under a governance structure comprising the University Council, the Chancellor, and a top management team led by the Vice Chancellor, supported by the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Academic, Research and Consultancy (DVC-ARC) and the Deputy Vice Chancellor for Planning, Finance and Administration (DVC-PFA).
